Mother of Murdered Woman Writes Heartfelt Farewell Letter

María Luisa del Valle, the mother of Débora Bulacio, the woman who was murdered by her partner, Ángel Gutiérrez, in the city of Necochea, wrote a heartbreaking and moving letter on social media to bid farewell to her daughter after the confirmation that her body had been found in Lake Los Cisnes following an exhaustive search.

Through her personal Facebook account, del Valle expressed: "I touched your body, not your soul." "All your love, your smiles, your desire to always help others, your availability for whoever needed an ear, a hug, an 'I love you'—it all remains with us. God lent us your life for a little while," she continued.

In the letter, she also referred to the loss the victim suffered a few years ago with the death of her son and her sister: "Dámaris Débora, you reunited with your baby who was waiting for you up there, and you met your older sister, I'm sure you are already hugging them, telling them 'I love you'."

"Until we hug again, while I live, I will fight for you. You are free, fly high, to the arms of our Creator. Justice will be done, I am sure of that, because heavenly and earthly justice have united," she added.

Finally, to close the emotional letter, del Valle wrote: "They wanted to hide you, but they forgot or were forgetful that you are LIGHT, and in darkness, LIGHT shines."
