A man murdered his partner in the Buenos Aires locality of Navarro and subsequently crashed into a truck on Route 47 while trying to escape, resulting in severe injuries and police custody. The tragic incident took place last weekend at the home of Sandra Paola Díaz, 54, and Héctor Mario Isuse, 51, on Calle 32 at number 800.
According to authorities, after a heated argument between the couple, Isuse slit Díaz's throat and fled the scene. Minutes later, he was involved in the crash with the truck on Route 47 and was urgently transported in critical condition to San Antonio de Padua Hospital, where he remains under medical care.
Regarding the truck driver, identified as Sergio Gastón Bueno, he sustained minor injuries from the impact. The investigation now focuses on determining whether Isuse intentionally lost control of his vehicle or if the crash was accidental, as well as clarifying the femicide.
Neighbors reported hearing the loud argument prior to the terrible outcome, in which Isuse caused Díaz's instantaneous death by cutting her neck. The attacker was arrested shortly after the crash, and the case is being investigated by Functional Unit No. 4 of the Mercedes courts.
Witness testimonies indicate that after committing the crime, Isuse fled in his white Ford Focus car. The gravity of the events has shocked the community, while authorities work to clarify what happened and seek justice for the victim.
