
In the locality of Moreno, in the western area of the Greater Buenos Aires metropolitan area, the police detained a man accused of killing another in a violent incident captured by security cameras. The arrested, Gonzalo Daniel Moya, 21 years old, was found hiding in a relative's house in the La Perla neighborhood.
The incident occurred when Moya, moving in a wheelchair due to a fracture in his right leg from a traffic accident, shot at Brian Rodríguez, 26 years old, who died on the spot. The episode took place last Sunday morning on La Plata street, following a dispute whose reasons are still unknown.
The accused is under custody at the 1st police station and is expected to be interrogated on Monday by prosecutors Alejandra Piqué and Sebastián Dileo from the Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) No. 6 of the Judicial Department of Moreno and General Rodríguez. Authorities are investigating the crime using the footage recorded by the security cameras as a key element in the case.
