Buenos Aires, February 2 (NA) – The ongoing search for the rapist in Miramar continues. Days after the sexual attack, there is uncertainty and fear due to the lack of valuable information about who the perpetrator could be. After the incident, the minors fled the scene and alerted the police, after which they were treated at the local hospital, according to the Argentine News Agency. Since that day, there has been great secrecy surrounding the case, as well as fear among neighbors and tourists in the area, who do not want to leave their homes due to a possible new attack by the rapist. Although authorities state that the search range is very broad, they assure that the analysis of security camera footage will be valuable to apprehend the accused. While this is happening, the city is trying to return to normalcy, and the nightclub area hopes to have its audience back, although for now everything is uncertain. The case is in the hands of prosecutor Rodolfo Moure, who expects to have results in the coming days. The Justice system maintains that the analysis of security cameras will be key to finding the suspect. The incident occurred at the end of January when the teenager was walking with a friend after leaving a nightclub, in a beach area located at the intersection of Costanera and Calle 33, when they were surprised by a man who threatened them with a bladed weapon. There, the aggressor, according to the victim's complaint, raped her and also forced the other young man to undress, before stealing their cell phones and fleeing.
