Beyond the outcome, his name is etched in the club's history for having returned the team to the top category after 42 years. Franco will take over in a complex context, as Gimnasia de Mendoza has two wins, three draws, and six losses in the Apertura Tournament, and his debut will be challenging: they will host the leader Vélez at the Víctor Legrotaglie stadium next Friday, April 3.
