
At the inauguration of the UTN Campus in the TIC Park of Mendoza, Governor Alfredo Cornejo expressed the importance of collaborating with the productive sector and promoting applied research to boost the growth of the province. The TIC Park Mendoza, which integrates the public, academic, and business sectors, is based on the model of the Sábato Triangle and involves various entities and more than 40 companies dedicated to software development and digital solutions.
In the opening ceremony, Tadeo García Salazar, Minister of Education of Mendoza, highlighted the relevance of integrating educational efforts from the initial levels and emphasized the importance of technical education in any development plan. According to García Salazar, collaboration between the municipality, province, and university is key to progress. Alfredo Cornejo noted that this inauguration is a step towards technological development in Mendoza, with the goal of training experts in Information and Communication Technologies.
The UTN Campus, designed to foster training in ICT, is considered a strategic axis of job opportunities and strengthening the knowledge economy. The modern infrastructure will allow for the development of academic proposals oriented towards Industry 4.0, automation, and technological innovation, generating professionals competitive at the national level.
During the inauguration, an agreement was signed among government, business, and academic actors to turn the UTN Campus into a hub of educational innovation and technological development. The goal is to enrich technical training and offer job opportunities in the technological sector.
The new building consists of multimedia classrooms, computer laboratories, administrative offices, and accessibility spaces designed with criteria of sustainability, safety, and comfort. It is expected that in the coming months, training programs and outreach activities will be reinforced to consolidate the UTN Campus as a key player in the technological and educational advancement of Mendoza.
