Buenos Aires, March 27 (NA) – A man has been prosecuted in Mar del Plata for human trafficking, as he reduced two young people to servitude and forced them to sell cocaine. According to what the Argentine News Agency was able to learn through the Fiscales portal, the man led a band dedicated to drug trafficking. Furthermore, it was concluded that he recruited two young people through a deceptive proposal, transferred them to Mar del Plata, reduced them to servitude, and forced them to handle the sale of narcotics. During the raids carried out in the case, the two individuals were found alongside a scale and 15 grams of cocaine. According to the investigation, they received a stipulated amount of drugs each week for retail sale. On January 13 of this year, the Guarantees judge expanded the prosecution against the alleged leader of the criminal narco-organization, considering him the author of the crime of human trafficking, under the modality of recruitment, transfer, and shelter, aggravated because the exploitation was consummated. Additionally, she was told she would be the godmother of the newborn son of the gang leader, something that never happened. In late February of last year, the main accused needed to abandon the dwelling he inhabited with his partner, a person under 18 whose participation and responsibility in the events have not yet been defined, and the reason was that he believed the residence was "marked" by the police. In this way, the idea was for other people to be in charge of that part of the commercialization. Based on this, they contacted a relative of the minor and offered her to go to Mar del Plata with her boyfriend. To convince them, they took advantage of the fact that both were unemployed and in a complex economic situation.
