The Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers, Karina Milei, will arrive tomorrow in Mar del Plata to preside over a La Libertad Avanza (LLA) party congress in the province of Buenos Aires. The event, to be held at the Hotel Provincial, aims to gather over a thousand libertarian leaders. Milei will be accompanied by her main operator in the province, Sebastián Pareja, to bring order to the party's internal affairs and discuss the party's dynamics and the current political situation. Various provincial leaders are involved in the organization, and thematic panels are planned, including one hosted by the elected deputy Alejandro Carrancio. Although the mayor of General Pueyrredon, Guillermo Montenegro, entered the legislature on the LLA lists, he will not participate in the congress as it is a strictly party activity. The congress is taking place against a backdrop of a truce between the two main factions vying for power within LLA in Buenos Aires province: the sector led by Pareja and 'Las Fuerzas del Cielo,' which are aligned with presidential advisor Santiago Caputo. Both groups are willing to advance a unity scheme in the province with a common goal: to present a more cohesive front against Governor Axel Kicillof. In this context, a key exchange between Pareja and AgustÃn Romo, the head of the libertarian bloc in the legislature, is still pending to define positions in the new parliamentary composition.
