Residents of Mar del Plata marched to demand justice for Cristian Velázquez, the kiosk owner who was shot in the head. The mobilization took place near the store, where passersby gathered to call for greater security in the area due to frequent incidents of insecurity.

Men, women, and children joined the protest, placing an Argentine flag and flowers at the premises on Avenida Jacinto Peralta Ramos at 700. Carrying signs and t-shirts with slogans like "Justice, maximum sentence for criminals" and "Safety for Mar del Plata," the protesters expressed their outrage and concern over the situation in the city.

In response to Velázquez's murder, the police arrested a suspect known as "Nacho" at his home on Cuba Street at 3000 in the Pueyrredón neighborhood. Additionally, another alleged criminal known as "El Guachín" has been identified, and there is a warrant out for his arrest. Residents continue to demand more security measures to prevent future violent incidents in the area.
