Buenos Aires, December 17 (NA) — Héctor, an 89-year-old retiree, suffered a brutal assault at a nursing home in Mar del Plata and had to be treated at the hospital for serious injuries. The case came to light in the last hours at a nursing home in the Punta Mogotes neighborhood, located on Pacheco Street, after Héctor's family filed a public complaint and with the Justice Department for the injuries he suffered after being assaulted by nurses. According to local journalists reported to the Noticias Argentinas Agency, the victim was taken to the hospital, where it was determined that he has facial wounds and a fracture in his wrist. The family also stated in the complaint that, according to what the attackers said during the request for explanations, the incident would have occurred when the retiree was supposed to take medication, but he refused and suffered a psychotic episode. A dramatic video showing how he was beaten was attached to the complaint and quickly went viral on social networks. It was indicated that to protect the victim, he was removed from the said nursing home and the Justice Department is already investigating the actions of the nurses.
