A 64-year-old retiree poisoned her ten dogs and then committed suicide in the coastal city of Mar del Plata. The incident occurred this Monday in a home in the Parque Hermoso neighborhood, where the woman contacted her sister, who went to the residence and found her barricaded, prompting her to alert the Police, according to information from the La Capital newspaper portal accessed by the Argentine News Agency. Officers from the Parque Hermoso sub-commissariat went to the scene and found the woman deceased inside the property, while health personnel performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques, but without success. Prosecutor Alejandro Pellegrinelli intervened in the case and filed the investigation as “Investigation of death causes,” while the animals died as a result of the poisonings.
