A 54-year-old man died after suffering a heart attack in the city of Mar del Plata. Following this tragic event, a thief took advantage of the situation to steal from him. A security camera captured the moment when the victim, a resident of the Velez Sarsfield neighborhood, was collapsed on the ground when the criminal approached and, instead of helping him, stole items from his bag.
The thief hid the stolen belongings among his clothes and fled before the arrival of the SAME ambulance at the building located at 1900 Boulevard Marítimo Patricio Peralta Ramos. Despite the efforts of the medical staff to carry out cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) maneuvers, it was determined that the man, who had a history of heart problems, had died.
Currently, authorities are working to locate the thief, who is currently evading justice.
