Retiree found dead in Mar del Plata after months

The lifeless body of a retiree in her home in Mar del Plata was discovered by her nephew, and investigators suspect that the woman may have been dead for more than four months due to her advanced state of decomposition. María Cristina Marsili, 76 years old, was found in her residence located on Guido Street at 300 by her nephew, who alerted the police after the grim discovery in the living room.

Police authorities immediately went to the scene and confirmed the woman's death, indicating that her body showed signs of advanced decomposition, suggesting that death occurred several months ago. In the initial inspections of the house, no signs of disorder or theft were found, which rules out the possibility of an attempted robbery as the cause of Marsili's death.

According to investigators, the absence of disturbances or the lack of objects would suggest that the retiree may have died of natural causes, an accidental trauma, or even possible murder. An autopsy will be crucial in clarifying the exact circumstances of the woman's death and confirming the time of death, which is estimated to be more than four months ago.

María Cristina Marsili's nephew, who does not reside in Mar del Plata, mentioned that he tried to contact his aunt several times without receiving a response. Due to his concern over the lack of contact, he decided to travel to the coastal city, and it was then that he made the terrible discovery in the retiree's house.
