The Buenos Aires Province government has launched a summer program featuring concerts, theater shows, circus performances, and film screenings across cities like Mar del Plata and Lobería, all free to the public.

The Government of Buenos Aires Province has launched an extensive cultural program, offering over 600 free events for tourists during summer vacation. Festivals are being held on beaches, in the mountains, museums, and public libraries.

In Mar del Plata, in particular, the Auditorium Theatre is presenting a packed schedule for the last week of January. At the Sala Piazzolla, Martín Rechimuzzi will perform his play Alejandra today. On Tuesday, January 27, and Wednesday, January 28, Julieta Zylberberg will star in Prima Facie. The main stage will also feature the renowned dancer Iñaki Urlezaga, who will offer performances of his dance show on Thursday, January 29, and a special gala on Friday, January 30.

The programming is completed in the Payró, Nachman, and Lauretico halls with proposals like El Conventillo de la Paloma, Arde Piaf, the cycle Lo nuestro es puro teatro, and recitals by Las Magdalenas.

The MAR Museum will continue its free activities: today it will host the musical show BAWKBAWKBOOM, and on Friday, January 30, at 8:00 PM, writer Pablo Ramos will close the Summer Readings cycle.

In Miramar, activities are divided between the beach and the center. The Parador Recreo will offer plastic arts workshops on Tuesday, January 27, at 4:00 PM, while the Municipal Library will host literary and reflective proposals: on Thursday, January 29, there will be workshops for children, and on Friday, January 30, at 8:00 PM, Pedro Saborido will lead a Café Cultura talk on Buenos Aires identity.

Also on the southern coast, in Monte Hermoso, the Casa de la Cultura will present the play Evita, Un homenaje, starring Esther Goris, on Friday, January 30, at 9:00 PM, following a day on Wednesday, January 28, dedicated to reading workshops and circus shows.

The town of Mar de Ajó will be another hub for dance, hosting Iñaki Urlezaga on Wednesday, January 28, at 10:00 PM at the Espacio Multicultural with his Noche de Clásicos y de Película.

In Villa Gesell, the Parador Recreo will hold its percussion workshops on Tuesday afternoons, and Plaza Primera Junta will offer a folk peña on Wednesday, January 28. In Mar del Sud, families can enjoy the Muruya circus show on Thursday, January 29, at the Playón de la Costanera.

In Dolores, the Provincial Historical Museum Libres del Sur invites to an open-air horror film cycle. Screenings, scheduled for 9:00 PM, will include the classic Carrie on Wednesday, January 28, and Dracula on Thursday, January 29.

The itinerant Cultura Rodante project will finish its stay in Ramallo with games and reading stations at the Parador Municipal until Tuesday, January 27, before moving to Necochea, where it will join the Children's Festival at Parque Miguel Lillo starting Thursday, January 29, at 5:00 PM.

Finally, the proposals will also reach Tres Arroyos, with the exhibition Identidad aumentada on Monday, January 26, in the town of Reta, in Tandil with naturalist workshops during this day, and in Lobería, which will celebrate its anniversary on Saturday, January 31, with a musical show at the Predio Camino de Sirga.

Museums in the Provincial Summer

The provincial museums will keep their doors open this summer. The Enrique Udaondo Museum Complex in Luján will be open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

In the south, the Provincial Historical Museum Libres del Sur in Dolores will be available from Wednesday to Sunday, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Nearby, the Provincial Historical Museum 17 de Octubre in San Vicente will receive the public on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, in the afternoon schedule from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

The Provincial Historical Museum Guillermo E. Hudson in Florencio Varela will offer an extensive schedule: Wednesday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and on weekends and holidays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Provincial Eva Perón House Museum in Los Toldos will maintain a double shift, from Tuesday to Sunday and holidays, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
