In Mar del Plata, Argentina, a 62-year-old man was detained on Thursday after he assaulted the driver of a truck that had crashed into a light pole and left the area without electricity. The violent incident occurred this morning in the El Marquesado area, on the road to Miramar, when the vehicle snagged some cables, causing a power outage in some homes in the southern part of Mar del Plata. An angry neighbor came out of his house and confronted the truck driver and eventually assaulted him, although he only caused him some minor scrapes. In any case, and as learned by the Argentine News Agency, the victim filed the corresponding complaint and shortly after the attacker was arrested. Consequently, a case for the crime of 'minor injuries' was initiated, which is under the jurisdiction of the Flagrancy Prosecutor's Office, headed by Mariana Baqueiro.
