The Balneario 12 de Mar del Plata has unveiled its pricing for the summer season 2025/2026, surprising with a policy aimed at attracting more families amidst a complex economic context. The owner, businessman Augusto Digiovanni, stated that prices for beach tents will remain at the same level as last year, and the restaurant will offer an accessible menu.
"We are out to break the market," he said. "Our restaurant menu will be accessible to all wallets, people will be surprised." According to Digiovanni, the goal is to make a beach holiday accessible, preventing it from becoming an impossible luxury.
"A tent cannot be a luxury item, don't count on us for that," he emphasized. "The idea is for a family to come and enjoy themselves without having to mortgage their house."
He also added that the gastronomic offerings will be below market average. For example, a chicken milanesa sandwich will be priced at 7,000 pesos, and the full menu will be even more surprising.
Prices are now confirmed and vary by month and rental duration. In January, traditionally the most in-demand period, the rates will be as follows:
- Tent per day: 80,000 pesos
- Full month: 2,000,000 pesos
- First fortnight: 1,100,000 pesos
- Second fortnight (most requested period): 1,200,000 pesos
- 10 days: 800,000 pesos
- Week: 560,000 pesos
