The Malaweb portal of Malargüe has recently revealed the salary list for the month of September for the officials of the Municipality of Malargüe, including the mayor Celso Jaque, secretaries who report directly to him, and ad hoc directors. The salaries of these officials vary depending on their positions and responsibilities.
The mayor receives a total remuneration of $1,642,857.80, while the secretaries earn $1,396,429.13 and the directors receive salaries of $1,150,000.46. In addition to these salaries, officials receive a non-remunerative bonus, initially set at $100,000 in negotiations, which was recently increased to $150,000, with an additional amount planned for the last quarter of the year.
Other compensations such as travel allowances and items have not been detailed. On the other hand, the salaries of municipal employees vary according to their functions, seniority, categories, and assigned items, ranging from $200,000 to $400,000 monthly.
