Pedro Guillén, owner of a travel agency accused of scamming 80 people in the province of Mendoza, has been arrested in Maipú after a warrant was issued for his capture. The Public Prosecutor's Office of the province reported on this case and five additional accumulated cases involving the travel agency Guillén Enterprise for alleged fraud. So far, the estimated amount of the alleged scam totals 175,560 dollars and 25,361,604 pesos.

Authorities detailed that in one of the cases, a total of 42 people were affected by the reported actions, and in the other five accumulated cases, there are 38 additional victims. The Public Prosecutor's Office indicated that the numbers could change as the investigation progresses.

The victims of this alleged fraud purchased travel packages to the Caribbean that turned out to be non-existent, discovering the scam days before traveling or even at the airport in some cases. After Guillén's arrest in Maipú, the accused was transferred to the competent prosecutor's office to continue with the corresponding legal process. The capture occurred in the late afternoon or evening on Thursday, specifically on Ozamis street in the Maipú department.
