Four inmates escaped from the Detention Guard Division of Regional Unit X in the province of Misiones, and the police have recaptured two of them.
The incident occurred during the early morning hours of January 24 in the Fátima neighborhood, where the perpetrators made a hole in the roof of the inner courtyard, cut the bars, and carried out the escape.
In this context, authorities launched a search to locate those involved until this Sunday, when they managed to arrest Ramón Alberto Silvero, 40, who was imprisoned for sexual abuse charges.
The arrest was made on National Route 12, in the city of Loreto, at kilometer 1,391. Meanwhile, Ángel Gabriel Danchuk (19) was recaptured during the early hours of this Tuesday in the Porvenir II neighborhood.
The inmate, accused of a rape case, attempted to escape, but officers managed to subdue him and apprehend him at the scene, while a butcher knife was seized.
Instruction Court No. 6 ordered the transfer of Danchuk to a police facility, according to local media reports.
Meanwhile, searches continue to capture Walter Ramón Cáceres Avalos (25), of Paraguayan nationality, and Cristian Ezequiel “Guri” Andino (23), both arrested for drug trafficking.
