In Longchamps, Buenos Aires, an 89-year-old retiree was murdered during a robbery. Police found the victim's body tied to the bed with signs of physical violence. The house was in disarray, the victim's cellphone was missing, and several cuts of meat were stolen from the freezer. According to the police report, criminals entered the victim's home, robbed her, and fled. Thanks to urgent raids and security camera footage, a neighbor of the victim, Diego Armando Jawniuk, was arrested. Stolen meat cuts and four chickens, labeled with the type of cut, were seized from his refrigerator and recognized by the victim's domestic employee. It was determined that Jawniuk has a prior conviction for aggravated robbery from May 2018 and a restraining order from May 2024. The investigation continues to capture the accomplice.
