
This Wednesday, March 6, at the store Pañalera Bebito Mimado located at 552 Lisandro de Latorre street, in Lomas del Mirador, a criminal incident took place. Abel Leite, 30 years old, witnessed how two armed men robbed his father-in-law, Hugo Galer, in the establishment. After the robbery, the criminals attempted to flee, at which point Leite decided to intervene.
According to the police report accessed by the Argentine News Agency, Leite tried to prevent the escape of the assailants with his VW Amarok truck. After a short pursuit, he managed to crash into the thieves, who continued fleeing on foot. Leite continued pursuing them in his vehicle until he managed to intercept one of them on Carlos Tejedor and Ogorman streets.
At that location, the criminal, identified as Diego Galizzi, robbed Javier Krisco of a motorcycle. In the attempt to escape, Leite hit both the criminal and Krisco. As a result, Galizzi died due to the impact, while Krisco suffered multiple traumas and a fracture, but without risk to life.
The accomplice managed to flee, and it was discovered that the vehicle they were using had an active seizure order from the same day in Ciudad Evita. The prosecutor's office led by Adrián Arribas is conducting the corresponding investigations, and so far, no actions have been taken against Leite. The case has been classified as aggravated robbery due to the use of firearms, concealment, aggravated robbery in attempted degree, homicide, and injuries.
In summary, a man ran over one of the criminals who had robbed his father-in-law's store minutes earlier, resulting in the death of the thief and injuries to a third person involved in the situation.
