The tragic event was captured by security cameras that recorded the couple entering the establishment at 2:30 PM. However, at 5:30 PM, the man exited saying he needed something from his car, which was not on the premises, and unable to re-enter, he fled the place. The manager alerted the Police after this strange behavior, and upon entering room 17, they found Malena dead in the bathroom.
After gathering evidence, it was suspected that the assailant was hiding in the Lomas de Zamora Centro area. Therefore, an undercover surveillance operation was deployed in the neighborhood and they managed to capture the suspect in public. The femicide was arrested and will face charges for this heinous crime.
