A large-scale fire broke out at a plastics factory in the Buenos Aires suburb of Lomas de Zamora. At least 16 fire crews were dispatched to the scene. According to information obtained by the Argentine News Agency, the blaze occurred at a building located at the intersection of Gabriela Mistral and Ameghino streets, one block from the Lomas de Zamora cemetery. The flames exceeded two meters in height, prompting the evacuation of local residents.
