The municipality of Lomas de Zamora is advancing with roadworks on Avenida Frías, in Turdera, on a high-traffic section that concentrates local circulation and bus routes. The tasks extend over 15 blocks, between Antártida Argentina and Garibaldi, as part of an intervention scheme aimed at organizing mobility and reducing damage that affects safety on the route. According to Argentine News Agency, the procedure includes milling the asphalt with cracks and irregularities, and then the application of a new asphalt concrete layer, to improve the quality of circulation and pavement behavior. The work is framed in the "Community Works" program and aims to reinforce the road infrastructure on an artery considered strategic for the urban fabric of the locality. In parallel, complementary tasks typical of these fronts are planned: organization of intersections, adjustments of levels in intervened sectors, and preparation for marking and signaling, with the objective of improving circulation conditions. From the district, they indicated that these interventions are part of a broader plan with active fronts of concrete and asphalt in different neighborhoods, with a focus on maintaining urban improvement works at the end of the year.
