Buenos Aires, November 26 (NA) – A 20-year-old man was stabbed to death in the Buenos Aires party of Lanús, and his 16-year-old girlfriend is being sought in connection with the case. Police sources informed the Argentine News Agency that the incident occurred on Tuesday night in the city of Lanús, where the victim was identified as Santiago Nahuel López Monte. The suspect, whose initials are M.N.N., is currently being sought as part of an operation involving officers from the Security and Investigations departments of the Buenos Aires Provincial Police. The attack took place at a house located at the intersection of Ceferino Namuncurá and Lituania streets, following a 911 call made by the fugitive, who claimed her boyfriend was injured after trying to jump a fence. Officers from the Fourth Precinct and the SAME emergency medical service arrived at the scene and confirmed the death of the victim, who had stab wounds. The investigation is being led by the Lanús 8th Prosecutor's Office, under Oscar Maidana, who ordered an autopsy by the Scientific Police. The motive for the crime is currently unknown.
