Arrests for Drug Trafficking in Laboulaye

In Laboulaye, Córdoba, the Anti-Drug Police arrested a 49-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman who, despite having separated following a report of domestic violence, continued working together in drug sales. The raids, carried out by the Anti-Drug Police Force (FPA), dismantled three sales points in various neighborhoods of the city. According to authorities, the properties operated as drug distribution hubs.

During the procedures, doses of marijuana, cash, a motorcycle, and cutting and packaging materials used in drug sales were seized. It was discovered that the suspects had two sales modalities: home delivery and fixed sales points. Furthermore, it is being investigated whether the couple has connections with other distribution networks in the area.

It was reported that the restraining order issued by the Court was no longer in effect at the time of the operation. The arrests took place at a residence on Posadas street 100, and the other two raids were conducted at the intersection of 25 de Mayo and Entre Ríos, in the North neighborhood. The Public Prosecutor's Office of Córdoba continues the investigation and the possibility of expanding charges has not been ruled out. According to local media, the couple had previously had a romantic relationship during which the woman reported the man for gender violence.
