Buenos Aires, Dec 13 (NA) – The president of Estudiantes de La Plata, Juan Sebastián Verón, once again targeted the leadership of the Argentine Football Association (AFA) following the accident involving the team's buses heading to the Clausura Tournament final in Santiago del Estero against Racing, stating they have "a complete lack of empathy". According to the Argentine News Agency (NA), the executive and former 'Pincha' player shared the club's statement regarding the collision of three buses transporting fans to Santiago del Estero and commented: "The lack of empathy with the member and the fan is total, they expose people to travel without caring about the consequences to anyone." As a result of the incident, three people were injured with minor injuries and, as a precaution, were transferred to the Pilar Hospital for evaluation. "The delegation will resume its journey once the transferred people return and the new units arrive," the statement said. "The situation is under control, and the Club will continue to provide information through official channels regarding any news," the institution added. The rest of the passengers in the delegation are in good condition and have no injuries.
