La Plata, March 16 (NA) – The court in La Plata sentenced a young man on Monday to 23 years and four months in prison for the murder of Kim Gomez during an attempted robbery, according to the Argentine News Agency. This concerns an 18-year-old youth, who was 17 at the time of the crime, and on February 25, 2025, he ran over and dragged the victim for 15 blocks in the Altos de San Lorenzo neighborhood. Juvenile Responsibility Court No. 1 of the La Plata Judicial Department, composed of judges Marcelo Giorgis, Guillermo Mercenaro, and Juan Carlos Estrada, found him guilty of homicide during a robbery. Meanwhile, the 14-year-old adolescent is not criminally responsible due to his age and is being held in a maximum-security institution for a period of two years.
