The incident occurred on Friday, January 16, in the Melchor Romero neighborhood. According to police sources, the man was apprehended after the father of a teenager went to his house to demand that he stop harassing his daughter. The verbal altercation escalated, and the abuser opened fire, firing three shots. Miraculously, no one was injured. A caliber 38 firearm and live ammunition were seized from him. Tired of being the target of sexual insults and outbursts, a minor girl told her father that the neighbor was harassing her, and the case took an unexpected turn. The victim's father confronted the abuser, who responded with insults and then went into his home, emerging with a firearm in his hand. The retiree, identified as Natalicio Duarte Gonzalez (78), fired three shots near the victim's body while threatening to kill him. Police intervened and arrested the harasser, also confiscating the weapon and ammunition. Officers from the 14th Precinct were involved.
