The governor of the province of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, will hold a press conference today at 5:00 PM in the Golden Hall of the Government House in La Plata amidst the debt dispute.
According to the Argentine News Agency, several mayors who support the governor's administration will be present. They aim to demonstrate the backing that the official party of Buenos Aires Province needs for the upcoming debates in the Legislature.
Although the budget laws for the next year and tax regulations have already been approved, the request for debt authorization remains paused. This situation has caused tension not only with the opposition but also within Peronism, between the Kicillof faction and La Cámpora.
For this reason, the presence of these municipal leaders is crucial for the governor, as it shows significant support in this conflictive scenario.
