Maradona's Daughters to Testify in Judge's Hearing

Two of Diego Armando Maradona's daughters, Dalma and Gianinna, are testifying today in the disciplinary hearing against suspended judge Julieta Makintach, after they requested to postpone their testimonies on Tuesday. In the Annex Building of the Buenos Aires Senate Chamber, located in the city of La Plata, Maradona's eldest daughters are expected to walk the hallways on Wednesday to provide context for the trial, which was declared null and void after it was confirmed that the accused was making a documentary about the case without authorization. It is also expected that José Arnal, a partner of the production company 'La Doble' behind the film 'Divine Justice', and independent writer Juan 'Chavo' D'Emilio will testify before the jury. On Tuesday, the accused's lawyer Leopoldo Luque, Julio Rivas; the accused's close friend, María Lía Vidal Alemán; and even Makintach herself testified, reiterating her innocence for the second time. In an exclusive interview with the Argentine News agency, the suspended magistrate stated that she 'believes in the institutions' and demanded that 'the truth be known'.
