The governor of the province of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, will present this Monday the 2026 Budget for his administration, accompanied by mayors, ministers, and legislators. The event will take place at 14:30 in the Golden Hall of the government house in La Plata, and it is expected that Kicillof will explain the main guidelines of the plan for resources and expenses for the coming year, which will include a request for borrowing.
These will be the calculations made by Kicillof's administration for his seventh year at the head of the province of Buenos Aires, at a time when the confrontation over resources with the national government of Javier Milei continues. After the presentation, the project will be sent to the Buenos Aires Legislature for its formal discussion to begin.
According to the provincial government, the Nation has a debt with the district of 12.9 trillion pesos. The Minister of Government, Carlos Bianco, explained last Friday that Kicillof will expose the 'need' that exists 'to have these instruments to be able to carry out all his policies in this ruinous context that Argentina is experiencing'.
