March for Justice in La Plata

Today, a new march is expected in La Plata to demand justice for the murder of the girl Kim Gómez, who was thrown from a car and dragged for 15 blocks by criminals. The key event will take place in front of the Juvenile Court No. 1, where Judge María José Lescano will decide whether the 14-year-old detained for the crime will remain in maximum security until he reaches adulthood.

Neighbors, friends, and family of the little girl will gather at the judicial building, located on 8th Street between 56 and 57, to show their support and demand justice. The victim's mother, Florencia, identified the 17-year-old boy as one of those responsible, but could not confirm the involvement of the 14-year-old in the crime. According to videos that would be in the custody of the prosecutor's office, the minor was in another location at the time of the attack on the girl.

The 17-year-old boy is already in preventive detention for 180 days, and it is expected that a trial date will be set before this measure ends. Meanwhile, uncertainty surrounds the future of the 14-year-old, as the latest proceedings could change his fate. The community is preparing for a massive gathering in which they will demand justice with slogans such as "We are all Kim."
