Days before Judge María José Lescano makes a decision about the future of the 14-year-old detainee, a crucial procedure took place. Florencia, the mother of the girl murdered in a brutal robbery, testified before Prosecutor Carmen Ibarra. The woman stated that she recognized the 17-year-old boy but could not clearly identify the 14-year-old.

In her testimony, Florencia recounted that the older of the implicated forced her out of the vehicle, threw her to the ground, and positioned himself in the driver's seat. The prosecution's request is for the 14-year-old boy to remain in maximum-security detention until he reaches adulthood.

The crime that shocked the city, where Kim lost her life after being hit by the fall and drag of a car for 15 blocks, has generated a demand for justice that will be reflected in a massive march in front of the court. "We are all Kim," reads a message of solidarity.

The victim's mother, Kim Gómez, identified one of the thieves and pointed out the presence of another less visible one, describing that everything happened quickly. The prosecution continues to gather testimonies and investigate the case while awaiting a crucial hearing at the Juvenile Court No. 1 this Friday.

"Come out to the streets from wherever you are with your drawings and signs," indicates a call for the march in search of justice for Kim.
