Kim Gómez, the girl murdered by criminals in La Plata, is being mourned in an atmosphere of pain and frustration over the increase in insecurity in the city. Since Wednesday afternoon, family members and neighbors have gathered at the funeral home located at the intersection of 57th Street, between 5 and 6, to say their final goodbye to the girl, who lost her life after being thrown out of the stolen family vehicle and dragged for 15 blocks.

During the arrival of the loved ones of the little girl, numerous neighbors gathered at the wake, placing signs and lighting candles, while another group assembled at the door of the Town Hall to express their pain and anger. The funeral will extend until noon this Thursday, at which point the funeral procession will depart for the municipal cemetery to give a final farewell to Kim Gómez.

The autopsy performed on Kim's body revealed that the girl died as a result of the injuries sustained during the cruel act in which she was dragged by criminals in the stolen vehicle. According to judicial sources informed by the News Agency Argentina, the experts determined that the girl suffered hypovolemic shock due to the impacts sustained during the incident.
