A man working as a caregiver at the Pedro Cajade home in the city of La Plata has been detained for the alleged sexual abuse of a minor. Sources involved in the case informed the Argentine News Agency that the individual is Gustavo Adolfo Doctores Fontana, a former employee who was reported on January 29th when the victim stated that the attacks occurred inside the charitable institution located at 643 between 12 and 13. In this context, prosecutor Álvaro Garganta of UFI 11 confirmed that the complainant, whose initials were disclosed as C.F.C., was truthful in his statements, for which reason he ordered the arrest of the implicated individual. With the approval of Guarantees Judge Pablo Raele (Court 3), officers from the La Plata DDI detained Fontana at his mother's home.
The case is filed as "aggravated sexual abuse with carnal access and corruption of minors in ideal concurrence", while in the coming hours the detainee will be investigated in court.
