Three brothers, aged 4, 7, and 27, died on Wednesday in a fire that occurred in the Los Hornos area of La Plata. Police sources informed the Argentine News Agency (NA) that the incident occurred on street 57 between streets 152 and 153. The victims became trapped in the fire after one of their 3-year-old brothers, playing with a lighter, set a piece of clothing on fire. As a result, the fire spread quickly and came into contact with a mattress, accelerating the process, and three family members did not manage to escape with their lives. Meanwhile, a 17-year-old teenager, identified as A.P., and the 3-year-old child were able to escape the flames. The fatal victims were identified as: Celeste Villalba (27), Pilar Villalba (7), and Aitana Villalba (4).
