Nurse Jonatan Calderón was murdered during a robbery in the town of Los Hornos. The tragic event sparked a protest from his colleagues, who demanded greater security in the city. Calderón was remembered in an emotional wake attended by family, friends, and acquaintances to say their final goodbye.

During the protest, a colleague of Calderón expressed his outrage at the lack of security in the city, mentioning that even police officers were waiting at the entrance of the Municipality. Another paramedic shared his pain, stating that they had managed to survive the pandemic only to face such a violent tragedy.

Following the crime, two suspects with criminal records were arrested in connection with the case. Luis Matías Velozo and Matías Nahuel Curcio, both with a history of crime, were apprehended in Los Hornos. It was revealed that the detainees had prior offenses for burglary, and one of them used to take refuge in an abandoned house in the area.

The investigation of the case is under the jurisdiction of the Prosecutor's Office 1 of La Plata. The protesters, in their quest for answers and concrete actions against insecurity, conducted a "sirenazo" in front of the Municipality. Aboard various ambulances, Calderón's colleagues expressed their discontent and sadness over what happened, demanding measures to prevent future similar incidents.
