Man Accused of Masturbating in La Plata Park Released

Man Accused of Masturbating in La Plata Park Released

The man accused of masturbating in the Bosque Walk, La Plata, regained his freedom after prosecutor Betiana Lacki (UFI 2) did not order his detention. The man is Juan Carlos García, 65, who was charged with indecent exposure and had been transferred to the Second Police Station. The officers who arrested him seized the red Peugeot Partner van in which he was filmed masturbating in broad daylight. Despite the existence of a 33-year-old complainant who caught him in the act and filmed him, the prosecutor considered that García should not be detained as he had no prior record and was charged with a low-penalty crime. Judicial sources informed the Argentine News Agency that the accused did not resist arrest or flee, while emphasizing that he did not hinder the action of the Justice or the Police. García was taken to the judicial headquarters this Friday once he was notified of the charges against him. He was released after noon and walked away from 7 between 56 and 57.
