Case sources informed the Argentine News Agency that the individual is Miguel Sacarias, who was detained in the town of Tolosa and held at the Sixth Police Station until being transferred to the penitentiary headquarters at 8 and 56. The suspect was awaiting a fourth-floor meeting with officials from the Official Defender's Office 4 under custody when, unexpectedly, he headed towards a window and threw himself into the void. His body fell onto the judges' parking lot; in response, an operation was deployed at the scene. Doctors transferred him to the San Martín Hospital for multiple traumatic injuries and fractures. The incident caused tension between guards and workers at the La Plata criminal courts.
