Young Man Dies in Traffic Accident in Berissó

Buenos Aires, March 1 (NA) – A 26-year-old young man died this Saturday in the city of Beriss after being involved in a violent crash against a wall while driving his car.

The tragic episode occurred at the intersection of Montevideo Avenue and 71st Street, where, for reasons still under investigation, a black Volkswagen Gol Trend crashed head-on into the structure.

Upon arriving at the scene following a 911 call, patrol officers confirmed that a man was found unconscious inside the vehicle, later identified as Gabriel Brandon Garibaldi.

La Plata's justice system is investigating the causes of the traffic accident.

"Given the severity of the situation, the urgent intervention of firefighters and SAME personnel was requested, who worked together to free the driver who had been trapped among the metal," sources report.

Garibaldi was immediately transferred to Hospital Larraín, but "died shortly after his admission" despite the resuscitation maneuvers performed by medical professionals.

The case was provisionally filed as "Involuntary Manslaughter" and is under the jurisdiction of UFI No. 14 of La Plata, led by prosecutor Ana Scarpino.

As part of the investigation, traffic accident experts were ordered to the scene of the incident, and municipal security camera footage was reviewed to determine if another vehicle was involved.

In turn, the justice system awaits the autopsy results to add elements to the case file that seeks to clarify the circumstances of the fatal accident.
