Buenos Aires, January 18 (NA) — An 18-year-old woman was arrested this Sunday and charged with attempted murder after intentionally running over her partner, who was riding a bicycle, in an incident that occurred in La Plata. Police sources informed the Argentine News Agency that the suspect was identified as Nahiara Aylin Rabbia, 18, who had an argument with her 25-year-old partner, Mario Daniel Medina. According to witness accounts, the verbal altercation escalated, although the motives for the dispute are unknown. The victim left on his bicycle along streets 520 and 207 (in the Abasto area of La Plata), where the suspect intentionally hit him with a Ford Focus, license plate OFL-776. The aggressor was taken to the 7th Police Station in Abasto and is at the disposal of the on-duty Prosecutor's Office No. 7 in La Plata, headed by Virginia Bravo. Meanwhile, the injured man was taken to the Melchor Romero Hospital, where medical sources revealed that he has a hip dislocation and severe trauma, although his life is not in danger as his vital organs were not affected.
