Seven young people, including several minors, were detained in La Plata following a brutal fight in a public thoroughfare, which was captured by security cameras and confirmed that the injuries received are minor. The incident occurred at the intersection of streets 7 and 50 in La Plata, when police were on patrol and were alerted to a fight among several young people. Immediately, according to sources from the Argentine News Agency, officers dispersed the aggression, detained the accused, and then transferred them to the local police station. The young people were identified as Jonathan Martín Mattos, 19; Darío Mattos, 19; Matías Gabriel Botta, 21; Nazareno de la Canal, 19; José F., 17; Benicio C., 17; and Rodrigo Casella, 18. The case was filed as 'mild injuries' and it was determined that the wounds to one of the boys are minor. Following communications between the UFI No. 16, the Court of Guarantees No. 5, the Juvenile Criminal Responsibility Court No. 3, and the Juvenile Guarantees Court No. 1, it was decided to carry out the corresponding proceedings and release the protagonists. Regarding the minors, they had to be handed over by the authorities to their parents.
