In La Plata, Argentina, a 68-year-old man was arrested for shooting his neighbor during Christmas celebrations. The incident occurred in the Aeropuerto neighborhood, where the suspect, Juan Carlos Magen, complained about the use of fireworks by the victim's children. In response, he fired several shots from his apartment window, killing 45-year-old Daniel Nestor Ruben Ramirez with injuries to his neck and left shoulder. In protest, neighbors set fire to the attacker's Peugeot 504 car. Police seized an arsenal of weapons, including a 20-gauge reinforced shotgun, a Bersa Thunder .40 caliber pistol, an air rifle, and several rounds of ammunition. Magen was detained for 'homicide,' and the case is being handled by the La Plata Instructional Fiscal Unit. The body was taken to the morgue, and the scene was preserved for the work of forensic police.
