Massacre Threat at University of La Plata Leads to Evacuation

The University of La Plata in Buenos Aires has been hit by a massacre threat, leading to an evacuation and suspension of classes.

The authorities' attention was drawn to a concerning email sent from the account "Belcebu 764". The message contained a direct threat: "I am going armed this Friday to one of the locations with the assault rifles you see in the photo to kill as many people as possible by spraying them and then commit suicide, as my life doesn't matter since no life matters."

The email's subject line stated: "Everything is already decided and there is no turning back, not a single one will be left alive, we are all going with the devil." Attached was an image of two firearms, including an AK-47.

According to the investigation, the perpetrator was inspired by a previous failed attack. The authorities reacted swiftly: the Faculty of Arts building and other educational facilities were evacuated, and classes were canceled. Although there are no reported injuries, the university's police and security services are on high alert. An investigation is underway under the Federal Court No. 3 of La Plata.
