A 55-year-old motorcyclist died after crashing into a truck on the intersection of Avenue 122 and 60 in the city of La Plata. According to police sources, the accident involved a Mercedes-Benz truck (license plate ASI505) driven by 58-year-old Eduardo Di Mauro, from Berazategui, and a red Keller 110 motorcycle ridden by 55-year-old Marcelo Oscar De Rosa. Police and emergency personnel arrived at the scene to find the motorcyclist unconscious, with fractures to his chest and an exposed pelvis. He was urgently transferred to Hospital San MartÃn in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, De Rosa passed away shortly after being admitted. The truck driver stated he attempted to swerve to avoid the motorcycle but could not prevent the collision. Forensic police experts worked at the scene and took witness statements. The case is being handled by the UFI No. 10 of the La Plata Judicial Department, along with Guarantee Court No. 5. The incident has been classified as "vehicular manslaughter".
