The Minister of Deregulation and State Transformation, Federico Sturzenegger, posted a tweet with a message that combined politics, economics, and cinema. He announced the signing of a new resolution by Carlos Pirovano, director of the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA), which eliminated a fee that affected movie theaters in the interior of the country. Sturzenegger described this measure as devastating for the theaters in the interior and pointed out that costs had been reduced to zero thanks to the savings achieved at INCAA.

In another tweet, the minister mentioned that resolution 2.114/11, which imposed a tax on movie theaters for each movie shown, had been repealed. This measure had been burdensome, especially for theaters in the interior of the country. He also noted that public funds allocated for promoting cinema in 2024 had decreased by 71% compared to the previous year.

Sturzenegger used cinematic references in his messages, alluding to Argentine films such as "The Heist of the Century" and "Time for Revenge." Additionally, he mentioned that the restructuring of INCAA aimed to rationalize resources and reduce the number of employees at the institute, which had expanded considerably in recent years.

The creator of the channel Te Lo Resumo Así Nomás, Jorge Pinarello, thanked the minister for the mention and dismissed any criticism in the message. This interaction generated discussions on social media about the relationship between budget cuts and national cinema. Furthermore, Sturzenegger clarified that his comment was not a critique but a praise for the channel's content, highlighting the importance of continuing to promote culture and cinema in the country.
