The governor of Neuquén, Rolando Figueroa, made himself available and emphasized that the government will redouble efforts to sustain the work being done to contain the flames. He thanked the personnel combating the fire and highlighted the work of all national, provincial, and municipal areas involved.

The Emergency Operations Center (COE) continues to deploy personnel and aerial equipment daily in coordination with various institutions such as the Lanín National Park, the Ministry of Security, the Province's Emergency and Risk Management Secretariat, the municipality of Junín de los Andes, the Argentine Army, among others.

In response to extreme weather conditions, the National Parks Administration ordered the total prohibition of the use of fire in the Lanín, Nahuel Huapi, Lago Puelo, and Los Alerces National Parks. Only the use of cooking facilities in authorized tourist camps will be allowed.

The governor apologized for not attending the anniversary event in El Huecú, explaining that it was a priority to be on the ground to make quick decisions regarding the management of provincial resources. Figueroa is in communication with national authorities to coordinate actions regarding the fire in Lanín National Park, which affects approximately 3,200 hectares.

During his visit to the firefighters combating the blaze in Valle Magdalena, Figueroa stated: "The idea was to listen to them, see how we can help them and accompany them."
