The municipality of Ituzaingó has launched the construction of an underground parking lot for over 370 vehicles under Plaza 20 de Febrero, a project considered key to transforming the city center. According to the Argentine News Agency, the project is led by Mayor Pablo Descalzo and will be funded with municipal resources. The objective is to organize traffic in the central area, reduce the number of cars on the surface, and modernize the district's main public space. The project also features a renovated plaza with less concrete and more green spaces, inclusive sectors, new urban furniture, and better lighting. Additionally, interventions are planned for adjacent streets and changes to traffic circulation, which the municipality will communicate as the work progresses.
