Tragic Murder of Teen in Ituzaingó

A 16-year-old teenager was brutally murdered by several criminals to steal his cell phone outside a nightclub in the Buenos Aires town of Ituzaingó. The victim, identified as Ezequiel Altamira, was found dead at a home in the Buenos Aires district of Morón after leaving the club with friends.

Three young men, aged 19, 17, and 14, were arrested as the suspected perpetrators of the crime. Two of the detainees are siblings. The incident took place outside the nightclub 'The Club', formerly known as 'Club Leloir', where a confrontation erupted that resulted in the violent attack on Altamira.

Security cameras and witness testimonies were crucial in reconstructing the events leading to the teenager's death. According to accounts, Altamira and his friends got involved in a dispute with another group of individuals before the violence erupted and the young man was brutally beaten.

The mother of one of the victim's friends described that after the fight, noticing that Altamira was unresponsive, they attempted to help him unsuccessfully. When calling emergency services, the teenager was already dead by the time the ambulance arrived. The attackers, despite changing clothes to evade detection, were identified and detained.

The detainees, two brothers aged 19 and 14 and a 17-year-old girl, face charges of 'homicide in the course of robbery'. María Alejandra Bonini, head of the Functional Instruction and Trial Unit (UFIyJ) number 2 of Ituzaingó, ordered raids to capture the alleged murderers. Guillermo Rodríguez Rey, in charge of the Juvenile Criminal Responsibility Prosecutor's Office number 1, authorized the apprehension of the three individuals after analyzing the evidence collected in the case.
